Pharmaceutical Corporation (SIPC) has been a healthcare staple to its community since 1989. Founded by Dr. Sahr L Bockai Sr. a pioneer and immigrant of Sierra Leone, West Africa.

Upon graduating from Howard University's School of Pharmacy, Dr. Bockai Sr. decided to follow his dreams and open an independent pharmacy that prioritized underprivileged patients' health -treating them like Family. After realizing the need for patient-focused healthcare and pharmaceutical services, Dr. Bockai opened his first pharmacy in the Columbia Heights Community of Washington DC. Seeing the impact of prioritizing patient care, he expanded into more communities opening the Neighborhood Pharmacy location in 2002 and the Capitol Hill Pharmacy location in 2004.

The founding principle of Dr. Bockai still lives in the fabric of SIPC today while operating out of 3 locations, providing fast and accurate prescription services, vaccinations, clinical services, prescription delivery, retail shopping, and more.

After years of working alongside their father and upon his retirement, the pharmacy operates under the direction of his daughter Dr. Gbessay Bockai (CEO), and son Sahr L. Bockai Jr. (COO). SIPC new generation of leadership, remains committed to operate under the same mission of treating our community like family while providing above and beyond pharmacy and healthcare services to build healthier communities.
